Service Payments & Support Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Submitting a request does not create a paid appointment. Technicade will first confirm that the job is within scope, review availability, and provide the applicable payment link or quote. Payment is not a guarantee of a particular repair outcome.
1. Scope and pricing
Quick Tech Help is a consultation or an agreed local session of up to 30 minutes starting at $30. Longer troubleshooting work may be quoted at $60 per hour. Remote-control sessions are not currently offered. Approved services are scheduled only after scope, availability, payment timing and any applicable travel charges are confirmed. Services may involve diagnosis, setup guidance, or reasonable repair efforts within the paid session time. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes may be added when required. Travel, hardware, replacement parts, third-party licensing, and additional work are not included unless expressly agreed.
2. Approval and additional work
Technicade may decline a request if it is outside our capabilities, unsupported, unsafe, or unavailable. We will explain material scope changes and request your agreement before charging for additional time, parts or services.
3. Cancellations and refunds
If Technicade cannot accept or perform the service before work begins, we will issue a full refund of that service payment. If you cancel before a session begins, contact us at support@technicade.tech to request a refund or reschedule. Once an approved session begins, charges may apply for troubleshooting time provided even if the issue cannot be fully resolved. If the service is interrupted or substantially not provided, we will evaluate an appropriate refund or credit based on the work actually performed, applicable law and circumstances. Refunds are sent to the original payment method, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing time. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
4. Remote access and consent
Remote-control sessions are not currently available. If that service is introduced later, it will require a separately approved tool and your express permission at the time of connection. You may end a session at any time. Technicade will not install unattended-access software or enable persistent access without separate, express authorization. You must be the device owner or have authority to request support for that device. We will tell you which remote-support software is being used and provide installation instructions from the vendor's official source.
5. Your data and device
Back up important files before service when reasonably possible. Any agreed troubleshooting or local work may require reviewing settings, errors or software and could involve configuration changes or restarts with your permission. We will request your permission before accessing personal files or transferring data. Do not disclose passwords, one-time verification codes, financial account details, or highly sensitive records in the request form or chat. You should close sensitive applications and documents before screen sharing.
6. Limitations
Some issues require in-person diagnosis, specialized equipment, replacement components, manufacturer support, or licensed professionals. Technicade cannot guarantee the underlying issue can be corrected in a fixed time period and may stop a session if work appears unsafe or unauthorized.
7. Payments and receipts
Payments are processed by Stripe. Keep the payment confirmation for your records. For service issues, billing disputes or refund requests, email support@technicade.tech with the date of payment and a description; do not send payment card numbers.
8. Other terms
This service-specific policy supplements Technicade's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Where mandatory law applies, that law controls.
