Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Technicade collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use technicade.tech, Technicade software products and subdomains, subscriptions, customer support, service-request forms, and related services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on which Technicade product or service you use, we may collect:
- Account information such as name, email address, profile information, login identifiers, and authentication details.
- Business and workspace information such as organization names, locations, members, roles, checklists, tasks, schedules, assets, reminders, reports, and operational records.
- Content you submit, including text responses, photos, files, measurements, notes, maintenance records, service requests, and support communications.
- Subscription and billing information such as plan, subscription status, customer and subscription identifiers, invoice status, and billing history. Full payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by Technicade.
- Technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, IP-derived information, timestamps, page views, feature usage, error logs, and security events.
- Information you voluntarily provide when requesting local or remote services, quotes, repairs, 3D printing, troubleshooting, or other Technicade work.
2. Business and employee data
Technicade products may allow businesses to create workspaces and invite employees, contractors, managers, or other users. Workspace administrators may be able to view activity, submissions, photos, checklist completion, reports, and other records created within that workspace. The business or organization that created the workspace is responsible for determining what information it collects and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required by applicable law or workplace policy.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Technicade products and services; authenticate users; operate subscriptions; store and display customer content; send transactional emails, reminders, alerts, reports, and account notices; provide support; troubleshoot problems; prevent fraud and abuse; process service requests; create quotes; maintain business records; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Payments
Payments and subscription billing are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment details, billing addresses, tax information, and other information necessary to process transactions. Technicade receives transaction and subscription information needed to operate paid plans but does not directly store full card numbers.
5. Service providers
Technicade uses third-party providers to operate its products and services. Depending on the product, these may include Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Supabase for authentication, databases, and file storage, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Resend for transactional email, GitHub or GitHub Pages for website hosting or source deployment, and Web3Forms for website form delivery. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
6. How information is shared
Technicade does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the service, with authorized members of the same workspace, when you direct us to share it, when reasonably necessary to protect Technicade or its users, in connection with a business transfer, or when required by law.
7. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
Technicade websites and software may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, analytics, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure accounts, understand product usage, diagnose errors, and improve performance. Some products may use privacy-focused analytics provided by the hosting platform or other service providers.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security of Technicade products. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the product involved, and the status of the account or workspace.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials, using appropriate access controls, and limiting the information they upload to what is appropriate for the service.
10. Sensitive information
Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, or other highly sensitive information unless a specific Technicade product expressly requests it and you have a lawful reason to provide it. Service-request forms and ordinary workspace fields are not intended for highly sensitive personal information.
11. Children
Technicade products and services are generally intended for adults, businesses, and workplace use and are not directed to children under 13. Do not knowingly submit a child's personal information unless you have a lawful basis to do so and the applicable product is being used in a manner permitted by law.
12. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law and your relationship to a Technicade workspace, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information. Data controlled by a business customer may need to be handled through that organization's administrator. Requests may be sent to support@technicade.tech.
13. U.S. processing
Technicade operates from the United States and uses service providers that may process information in the United States and other locations. By using the services, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions different from your own.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Technicade products and services evolve. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when changes are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the affected product or service when appropriate.
